Chef de section - Circuits d'air:
Dans le cadre du nouveau programme de développement, nous avons un poste, qui doit être comblé immédiatement, de chef de section - Circuits d'air / FIDEEX / Systèmes de détection et d'extinction d'incendie/ Détection du givre.
Au sein de l'équipe de développement de nouveaux produits, Global 7000/8000, vous ferez partie de l'équipe LT responsable des systèmes de gestion des circuits d'air, de la détection du givre, des canalisations à haute pression et à basse pression, des contrôleurs de chauffage des hublots, des circuits oxygène, et Systèmes de détection et d'extinction d'incendie. Vous relèverez directement du chef, Lot de travaux. Dans ce poste, vous dirigerez une équipe dédiée à l'intégration des circuits d'air /Systèmes de détection et d'extinction d'incendie dans l'aéronef.
Dans vos fonctions, vous serez appelé à;
- Gérer vos priorités et votre volume de travail et attribuer du travail d'ingénierie au sein des circuits d'air (ECS/CPCS/WAI/systèmes de purge/ canalisations à haute pression et à basse pression) et Systèmes de détection et d'extinction d'incendie/intégration des circuits oxygène /détection du givre
- Interagir avec les différents fournisseurs du programme et d'autres fonctions d'ingénierie, avec les Services à la clientèle et les Opérations.
- Distribuer le travail, communiquer les résultats attendus et travailler avec l'équipe pour s'assurer que les livrables en matière de qualité soient effectués à temps.
- Participer à la planification de la main-d'œuvre et à la gestion des ressources.
- Participer à la préparation du budget, des salaires et des évaluations de progrès.
- Effectuer les évaluations de rendement des employés à l'aide du processus PGP/PDP.
- Participer au développement de ses subordonnés et leur fournir du soutien afin qu'ils puissent atteindre leurs objectifs et réaliser leurs livrables.
- Diriger le cheminement vers la certification Or du SAE.
En tant que candidat idéal;
- Vous détenez au minimum un baccalauréat en aéronautique ou en génie mécanique, avec un minimum de 8 à 10 ans d'expérience en pneumatique ou en APU.
- Vous avez des aptitudes éprouvées en leadership inter fonctionnel dans le domaine du développement d'avion et de la certification.
- Vous avez également une bonne connaissance des interfaces en pneumatique d'aéronef/Systèmes de détection et d'extinction d'incendie.
- Posséder de l’ expérience et des connaissances sur les règlements FAR part 25.
- Vous avez de l'entregent afin d'interagir avec d'autres équipes et des fournisseurs.
- Posséder de bonnes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite en anglais et français .
- Vous avez une expérience antécédente en gestion d'équipe ou de projets.
- Vous devez également avoir de l'initiative, un solide sens des responsabilités et un bon jugement.
- Vous êtes capable de bien travailler sous pression.
- Disponible à voyager entre Montréal et Toronto
- Vous avez de bonnes aptitudes informatiques pour Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Section Chief – Air Systems:
As part of a new development program, we have an immediate opening for a Section Chief- Air Systems / FIDEEX / Oxigen / Ice detection . Within the Global 7000/8000 New Product Development Team you will be part of the WP team responsible for Integrated Air Management Systems, Ice Detection, HP and LP Ducting, Window Heater Controllers, Oxygen Systems and FIDEEX. You will be reporting directly to the Work Package Manager. In this role, you will be leading a team integrating the Air Systems/FIDEEX, into the aircraft.
In your role, you will;
- Manage priorities & workload, and allocates engineering work within the Air Systems (ECS/CPCS/WAI/Bleed Systems/HP and LP Ducting) and FIDEEX/ Oxygen / Ice detection - Integration group.
- Interface with the different suppliers on the program, with other Engineering functions, with Customer Support and Operations
- Distribute work, communicates expected results and works with the team to achieve quality deliverables to schedule.
- Participate in manpower planning activities and resource management.
- Participate in budget preparation, salary and progression reviews.
- Perform employee evaluations via PMP/PDP process.
- Participate in the development and provide supports to his direct reports to enable them to reach their goals and deliverables.
- Manage our journey towards AES Gold certification.
As our ideal candidate ;
- You possess as a minimum a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering with a minimum of 8-10 years in the relevant systems mentioned above.
- Requires proven cross-functional leadership capabilities in the field of aircraft product development and certification
- You also have to possess good working knowledge of the Aircraft and interfacing systems in general
- Backround knowledge in FAR part 25 regulations
- You possess good interpersonal skills in order to interface with other groups and suppliers.
- Good written and oral communication skills In English. Knowledge of French is an asset
- Previous experience as a team leader or project leader
- You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good judgment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Available for frequent travels between Montreal and Toronto
- You possess good Software application skills in Windows (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
